The Best Week Ever!

It was the best week ever with Hermana Hingano! Why is she leaving me! We were the best of friends and it was so fun! But guess what…Im taking 2 with the training thing and training again! The only American coming too! I hope i can be a better mom this time! Wish me luck!

But really it was THE best. We saw so many miracles and had so much success finding new people to teach. Pablo Marta and Tabata didnt get baptized but for SURE this Saturday and Im soooo excited for them!!! yay!!!!

I honestly cant really remember too many little details that happened this wee except it was just really good and fun. We were walking and this family stopped us and said hey youre the mormons right? They were inactive and their daughter isnt baptized but want her to be. So she is  basically a golden investagators now Everything happens for a reason!!!

Hermana Mudo was with us for a day and it was super fun. We had a lot of fun in our little trio for the day and sang for a baptism in our ward. After the bishop said, we love our little angels in our ward and not our charlies angels hahahahahahah. Dying. I lovee them!

Funny thing this week. We were looking for Mormon messages for an investagator and we came across one of the Knox and Jess family in Jacksonville. I was like I know like ALL of them! haha. It was so cool. Springfield is famous! Of course i cried cuz it was an awesome story. Seriously, if youre ever feeling down, watch a Mormon message. SO GOOD!

Well i did the ice bucket challenge and made a video but its too big to send. So. Im sorry. Youll have to wait 11 months. But its pretty funny. I enjoyed watching all of yours. Masons..LOLOLOL. Dad, wheres yours eh?

Not a whole lot else to say but i love the mission and im so happy right now. Im so excited to see my new child tomorrow and right now Im with Hermana Junca and Sappenfield and its a blast. LOVE them! Who knew the mission could actually be fun eh? Love it!

Food for Thought:

I read this article from BYU and its super good. Im going to quote something from Jeffrey R Holland, “Please be more accepting of yourselves, including your body shape and style, with a little less longing to look like someone else. We are all different. . . . If you are obsessing over being a size 2, you won’t be very surprised when your daughter or the Mia Maid in your class does the same and makes herself physically ill trying to accomplish it. . . .

. . . It is spiritually destructive, and it accounts for much of the unhappiness women, including young women, face in the modern world. And if adults are preoccupied with appearance—tucking and nipping and implanting and remodeling everything that can be remodeled—those pressures and anxieties will certainly seep through to children. At some point the problem becomes what the Book of Mormon called “vain imaginations.”

Let us love ourselves. Dont judge others OR yourself. I know that I have such a battle with this. How is my hair? My weight? Why do my arms jiggle? But it is SPIRITUALLY destructive. As the Bible says, Man sees the outward appearance but God sees the INWARD appearance. It doesnt matter if we arent a size 0 or dont have Blake Lively hair. God loves us and we are all beautiful. Let us love EVERYONE so we can have this peace and happiness in ourselves more strongly.

I also loved another part about this talk from a Play called Raisen in the Sun. Hayle, you will appreciate this haha. It says. There is always something left to love. . . . Child, when do you think is the time to love somebody the most? When they done good and made things easy for everybody? Well then, you ain’t through learning—because that ain’t the time at all. It’s when he’s at his lowest and can’t believe in hisself ’cause the world done whipped him so! When you starts measuring somebody, measure him right, child, measure him right. Make sure you done taken into account what hills and valleys he come through before he got to wherever he is.”

We should love everyone and especially when they are at their lowest. THIS IS HARD TRUST ME. But i love that this woman had so much love for this man even though he betrayed them. Im so grateful for the LOVE in life. I know its hard, but love everyone. But first, Love God. Then, Love yourself. LOVE your lovehandles. Then, love your neighbor. Love the screaming Mexican children swearing in this Ciber while im trying to write an uplifting thought. And i promise you will find more happiness and love in your life.
